Our friends at Upper Perkiomen Area 2 Democrats are holding their annual Fall Picnic (aka “Ox Roast”) on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Macoby Run Golf Course Pavilion, from noon to 4 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow Democrats and county and local Democratic candidates and elected officials.

Old fashioned barbeque featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork, vegetarian dishes, homemade salads, sides, desserts, beer and soft drinks‐ all included!

Labor-Day-Celebration

On Saturday, September 3, 2016, Democrat Joanne Jackson, who has been stopping by UPDC meetings and Upper Perk events on a regular basis since announcing her candidacy for PA State Representative, is planning what sounds like a fun and festive “Labor Day Celebration” in Emmaus at the beautiful and historic Farmhouse at Buena Vista, 3501 Main Road, Emmaus, Pa.

Live music will be provided by the James Supra Blues Band and the food is courtesy of Bad Bones BBQ. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 3rd between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are $50. RSVP Kelly Bauer 610-217-3751 or email jacksonforstaterep@gmail.com

Our friends, the Area 2 Upper Perk Democratic Committee, are holding a dance party at Green Lane Firehouse on Saturday, April 9, 2016. The J. B. Kline Band will start the music at 6:30 p.m. Ticket price ($25 per person, $40 per couple) includes a light dinner. Cash bar on site benefits Green Lane Fire Company.
